UP rolls on while UJ makes easy work of TUT

On Sunday 20^th of April, TUKS, TUT, UJ and WITS met for the second round of qualifying games held at TUT Soshanguve in Pretoria.

With TUKS coming off 2 impressive victories over TUT for both the Men’s and ladies teams, confidence was high going into the game against WITS. Both teams came out on top to virtually assure their trip to the mother city for the SASSU tournament in June this year. WITS now have to beat UJ and TUT to make the tournament.

UJ played their first game of the qualifiers against TUT and both their teams won. The girls coming out victorious by another huge margin of 84-21 over the hapless TUT ladies.

The SASSU tournament takes place at the University of Cape Town from 30 June to 4 July 2008.
