Limpopo youth tournament

We just had a wonderful youth tournament over the past weekend, and it was great to watch the games. The tournament was held in Limpopo Province at Seshego basketball court. It involved both boys and girls. The tournament was for the following age group: U14, U16, U18 and u21. All the teams from the province were present travelling as much as 255km to form part of the tournament. We had a total of 425 players who participated in this tournament. These teams used their own transport, food and accommodation just for the sake of the game. We also used the tournament as opportunity to select the under/boys and girls as well as the u17 boys and girls.
Winners were as follows:
14 Boys: Koloti Knicks
14 Girls:Mahweleraeng Vampires
16 Boys: Koloti Knicks
16 Girls Mahwelereng Vampires
18 Boys Koloti Knicks
18 Girls Seshego Sonics
21 Men- Polokwane heat
21 Women- Mahwelereng Vampires.
We will be hosting the winter heat men’s tournament during the second week of July.
