The SA Basketball Showcase – show us something amazing!

This is our opportunity to show South Africa why we love this game, and to show the world some of the amazing skills we have here!

Check out this video to see what the SA Basketball Showcase is really all about.

Just get those amazing skills on video and show it off on The ‘Hood – we’ll feature the best ones right here on mybasketball.co.za!

It’s easy to take part:

Take a video of the amazing move/shot/dunk (or get your friend to take it) and load it onto your computer.
Upload it to the web (we suggest using YouTube or Zoopy)
Go to The Hood – the Videos page – and add your video (just paste the ‘embed’ code from YouTube or Zoopy into the box) with the tag “showcase” on it.
Let everyone enjoy watching the show!

Darren spent many years playing basketball in Pretoria, searching out every possible way to gain extra inches on his vertical in order to disprove the theory that white men can't jump. After being distracted by the corporate world for several years, Darren returned to the game he loves to contribute in some way to its' future. Darren firmly believes we will see basketball in its rightful place as one of the top sports in South Africa, and that one of the keys to doing so is seeing information about the game made easily accessible to everyone.
