Information from Bojan Palic
In 2007 after getting frustrated at the lack of information about the game he loved in South Africa, Victor decided to start Mybasketball and he hasn't looked back. For close to 15 years, Victor has experienced the game as a player, a coach, a spectator and now from a media perspective. The whole purpose of Mybasketball is to keep the fans informed about the game and anything related to it; whether it is here in SA, Africa or Overseas. Victor has made some great friends along the way and rekindled some amazing friendships through the game.. Some of those friends have joined him on this crusade to make basketball better for everyone, and he looks forward to a South Africa where basketball gets the credit it deserves and the focus is on youth development and improving the coaches.

i see that all my friends who have been complaining about GBA this and that are quite now that there is an AGM coming this weekend. it is good for GBA to arrange the AGM thou i believe the timing is wrong. to me the AGM should have been arranged during the week between monday and wednesday around 18h00.
the reason am saying this is that there are GBL games on sunday where most of the coaches and players will be, the national team will be camping if that is true. how then do we expect people to go to the AGM. for me it should be moved to accomodate all the stakeholders. remember there are financial issues and most importantly the elections of the new committee.
please GBA, reconsider the timing of the meeting.

Players and coaches are not members of the GBA council, therefore do not need to be in the AGM. The GBA council consists of reps from District Associations, USSA GP, Schools GP, League association and other afiliated provincial organisations.
In case you are wondering, constitutionally, clubs must affiliated to the above GBA council members and will then attend these organisations’ AGMs.
eg Joe Ballers affiliates to Ekurhuleni and attends EBA’s AGM. EBA affiliates to GBA, then sends two reps to the GBA AGM.
