Tournament Champions finishing first in group stage and winning in the final. King Edward VII School (K.E.S.) U16A team is officially the best U16 side in the Rainbow basketball league.
The KES u16A team had the best season as they participated at the St johns under16 tournament and won the tournament being the only team to not lose a single match at the tournament and also getting revenge on their rivals St Benedicts college by beating them in the group stage 26-18 and in the finals 22-18.
As they finished the 2008 chapter of the season undefeated, they suffered a narrow 2 point defeat to rivals St Benedicts college, this being their only loss of the whole season.
The team was the best performing under16 team in RBL league as they scored a whopping 674 points and only conceded 269 points in 19 matches. Their match average for the season was 35-14 in the favor of KES..
The team hasn’t changed since under14 and since under 14 they have lost only 7 games and won 38 matches out of all 46 matches played in their age group days..
The team is looking forward to open level in the fourth term and hopes to dominate there too
