USSA 2009 team to represent South Africa in Serbia

This is the training squad (picture above) that will represent the nation at the world student games in Serbia in July from the 1st to the 12. They will be led by University of Johannesburg assistant coach Molupe Thelejane and University of Western Cape Quinton Rapitse and managed by Frans Mamabolo, who is the new chairperson of USSA and comes from the University of Cape Town.

    Good luck to the team.The team can do well if they give 150% effort in ensuring that they utilise the 3 months they have to their disposal.

    Chairperson being the team manager…..VERY INTERESTING!!!!

    lets hope that the powers that be at USSA give the coaches and players enough time to prepare and also that the selected players will work hard on their own to make the technical teams work much easier.

    our chairpersons sure love free holidays. wasn’t there someone who can contribute to the team in a technical sense who would have been included as a manager rather than the chairperson. imagine a BSA chairperson going to Moz as team manager.

    Well done to the boys…. Hope they do their best when they get there.. You will face obsticles but the best way to stay on top is make sure that you,individually, are on top of your game..
