With the U18 IPTs around the corner (from the 30^th November – 4^th December 2009), Gauteng will be holding trials to select the team that will represent the province. Please approach your coaches, parents and friends and make sure that they attend if they want to be selected.

CHANGES:

Neo won’t be available and all changes are highlighted. Also, it is very important that only district teams will be considered. Contact people are as follows:

Girls’ convener: Asnath Maureen.As it stands now, all costs will be to the districts unless if otherwise stated in due course.

In 2007 after getting frustrated at the lack of information about the game he loved in South Africa, Victor decided to start Mybasketball and he hasn't looked back. For close to 15 years, Victor has experienced the game as a player, a coach, a spectator and now from a media perspective. The whole purpose of Mybasketball is to keep the fans informed about the game and anything related to it; whether it is here in SA, Africa or Overseas. Victor has made some great friends along the way and rekindled some amazing friendships through the game.. Some of those friends have joined him on this crusade to make basketball better for everyone, and he looks forward to a South Africa where basketball gets the credit it deserves and the focus is on youth development and improving the coaches.

i am reading this article and i wonder what is the purpose of putting this information here on the last hour. when are districts going to select teams or have they already done that. saturday is just around the corner.

Well Baller this is just a formality so that people dont come round and say in Gauteng we call players. All the districts have finalised their teams.

Who are the coaches or are we going to decide during/after the trials? What criteria will be used to select the them? Surerly James’ tenure has elapsed for the boys.
