Hi, this is great to know, I would like to get more information on the Marketing policies that they may have, I expect there to be better licencing terms for Africa as basketball marketing is at a very young stage at the moment.
where can i get more information on things like commercial rights from the NBA. Just to stop at that, what will the exact address be for contact information.

Who have you contacted at GBA that gave you no response? I would like to follow up with that person as we have made a firm commitment to acknowledge or answer (where we can) all requests for assistance or information.

The interim GBA exec is currently in negotiations with a service provider for the GBL 2010 season and have organised a general meeting to discuss the proposed structure on 13 February at Holy Family College, 40 Oxford Road, Parktown, 14:00.

You are welcomed to attend the meeting to discuss your proposal for the league and other programmes for the year. For any enquiries on GBA please contact our General Secretary Kornelia.

It is a good thing for Basketball in South Africa but I promise you it will be an opportunity missed like all the other ones we had. Back to reality…

Is the a league in Gauteng this year? I have contacted GBA and BSA asking this same question not response so far. if yes please provide us with details and if not I am proposing that all teams representatives in Gauteng must meet and start a league because if we are waiting from BSA or GBA we are waisting time.
