Some exciting news – you’ll see that you can now post comments right here on mybasketball.co.za using your facebook login info [your password is kept completely safe and goes directly to facebook – we don’t see your password at all].

What’s nice about it is it’ll use your facebook picture and name on your comments, meaning you don’t have to enter these details each time. We hope you’ll make good use of it as we try to keep building the SA basketball community!

Go ahead, give it a try on this article down below 🙂

For those of you who have commented here before it may mean a bit of a change, but we trust it’s for the better and hope you’ll find it easier in the long run.

Also, if y’all are on facebook please support us by joining the MyBasketball facebook fan page – if you look to the right of this page and down a little bit you can see some of the fans there already.

It’s just another way to help us communicate better with you and a way for you to find other people who love the game on almost everyone’s favourite social network.

See ya later.

Update 22/3/2010: it seems facebook connect is causing a number of problems and not allowing people to comment using the system. Talk about timing! Sorry about the hassles – the other ways of commenting are working fine so you can use twitter or yahoo logins for example, or even just use “guest post” to comment without logging in to any other of your profiles. We’ll let you know as soon as we see the facebook commenting is working properly. Thanks for your understanding 🙂

Update 25/4/2010: the problems have been resolved – you can now use the facebook button on our comments section to login via facebook. Thanks for your patience!

  1. Hi guys 'n girls. A few people are having trouble logging in with the facebook connect feature – it looks to be a problem on facebook's side but we're looking into it and will have it fixed asap.

In the meantime, you can sign in via Twitter, or Disqus or OpenID if you have those accounts, or you can simply post as a guest 🙂
