NBA Playoffs: The brooms are out

By on May 13, 2010 in News

In some very bizarre conference semi-finals series, three of four series have been swept by their respective winners. The only teams holding out, the Celtics and the Cavaliers, are looking to make up for it by setting up a monstrously exciting battle. The Celtics will be looking to take the series heading into game 6 on their home court, so could this be the year that LeBron has had enough of losing? It will need a Jordan-esque effort to ensure that the Cavs aren’t just spectators for the rest of the 2010 Playoffs.

The series’ as they currently stand, courtesy of nba.com:

Western Conference (conference final matchup: Suns vs Lakers)

NBA West Semi-finals 2010 1

NBA West Semi-finals 2010 2

Eastern Conference (conference final matchup: Magic vs ???)

NBA East semi-final 2010 2

NBA East Semi-finals 2010 1

Who do you think will be facing the Magic – the Celtics or the Cavaliers?

And who do you think will be the eventual NBA Champions for 2010?

I love my Cavs. But getting past the Celtics only to face Orlando makes me shudder. No predictions – just high hopes in Cleveland.

  2. Cleveland will have to wait another year it seems, assuming they can hang on to LeBron. But the Magic are definitely going to be a handful for the Celts after a tough series now. Superman is going to have to leap some tall buildings to keep Boston's big 3 (4?) at bay.
