The 2nd Spring Showcase basketball tournament takes centre court at the Sacred Heart Mcarthy Indoor Basketball courts this September, 2010. This 18 team tournament features competitive men’s, women’s and juniors’ basketball divisions.

Sponsored by the TCA, Swift Footwear, Skin.Me. and API property group, this tournament promises to be highly competitive and very entertaining.

::Details::
6-Week Basketball Tournament,
18 teams: 6 Men’s, 6 Ladies, 6 Juniors
Round Robin play, with 4 teams advancing to the championship rounds.
5 games guaranteed.
Games will be played on Sundays, 9am till 5pm. ::Venue::
Sacred Heart College Mcarthy Centre INDOOR Basketball-court,
Eckstein Road, Observatory, Johannesburg.

::Date::
12th of September till 10th of October 2010
Championship weekend:16th and 17th October 2010

Quick, efficient, action-packed games,
Full refereeing & tabling duties provided, 2 graded referees per game ,
Electronic Scoreboards with Baller music for that basketball atmosphere.

League stats/log and player points tracker via facebook and email,
DVD copies of all your games (1 per team),

2010 Fixtures and results:

Awards Dinner for ALL registered players with live entertainment on the night.
(except for the Junior players)
(Tickets for Juniors and non-players available at R120.00 Bookings essential)
Trophies for winners for all divisions,
All-star Team awards and Division MVP awards.

Post-game team relaxation area,
DSTV screening of major Barclay’s Premiership Football matches,
Video footage of previous weeks games for team strategy,
Entertainment, food and beverage, car-wash facilities.

The biggest thing about Spring showcase is making sure everyone has a privileged athlete experience regardless of your talent level or skill level, if you have a passion for basketball we want to make sure there is a place for you to play and be treated well. Athletic services is the number one feature of the experience.
