GUBL final four 2010

The dates of the schedule will not be altered in any shape or form as we are pressed by the examinations that are beginning in the week starting on Sunday, October 17 and the GUB has a deadline to meet for the submission of the names of the qualified teams with USSA Basketball.

Let us all take strict notice of the following:

  1. Punctuality. Games will start on time and NO excuse, discussion will be entered intofor infringing this rule, The FIBA Rule pertaining to this will be adhered to. Thus the teams will have to present their team lists at least fifteen (15) minutes before schedule time for tip-off, this will save valuable time.
  2. No Card, No Play Rule. An athlete who cannot present his/her student card before the start of game will not be allowed to participate in the game being played. And an athlete who cannot present his/her student card before the end of the first half shall not be allowed to take any part in the game in the second half.
  3. Table officiating. The table officials will be given a twenty rands (R20) compensation per game.
  4. Match Officials. The semi-finals’ game will be officiated on by two officials. The finals for the men division two will be officiated on by two officials while the men and women division one finals will each utilise three officials.
