BNL Standings – Week 3

This weekend saw six more games completed for the 2014 season.

The defending champion Tshwane Suns continued their hot streak, moving their unbeaten record up to 5, while the EC Windbreakers extended their losing streak to six. The Egoli Magic debuted, playing their first games of the season. They came away with one win and one loss so we’ll have to give them a bit more time to see if they’ve come back better this year.

Although lacking the drama of last weekend, the Minister of Sport, Fikile Mbabula did attend this weekend’s games, and the Duzi Royals made a splash providing a 100+ game for the fans, meaning there has been one each weekend so far this season.

We still haven’t received a response from the BNL regarding the differences we noted on the standings they had on their site after week 2 but we’ll let you know if they do respond. (We still think their standings left out one of the game’s results)
