French Turn the tables on SASOL SA squad

JOHANNESBURG, 30 October 2010 – Just 24 hours after the Sasol SA squad drew first blood in the three-game French Internal Tour, the world’s number two ranked team thwarted the home side’s bid to make it two in a row on Saturday.

France made good on their promise to play more aggressively and sink more goals and their 64-50 victory at the Mandeville Indoor Stadium in Johannesburg has set up an intense battle for Sunday’s final game.

SASOL SA squad draws first blood against the French

JOHANNESBURG, 29 October 2010 – In a tightly contested battle, the Sasol South Africa squad brought it home in the opening game of the French Internal Tour on Friday night.

IWBF Africa World Qualifiers Program 2009

The IWBF Africa World Cup Qualifiers for Wheelchair Basketball will be hosted in South Africa with 8 African countries participating in Wheelchair Basketball at Mandeville Indoor Sports Centre, for the qualification to the World Cup in Birmingham July 2010.

Countries Attending – Algeria, Angola, Gabon, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa & Zimbabwe

Tournament dates: 3 – 10 October 2009.
