Winelands Basketball League Inaugural Season 2011
Winelands Basketball League kicks off in 2011 with the support of the Delta Trust to try and revive basketball in a forgotten but beautiful part of the Western Cape. With kyle Ray working closely with Aggrey Ofula to generate, educate and elevate the game of basketball in the area we are bound to see growth.
The Delta Trust was established in 2007 to focus on development projects in the wider Franschhoek Valley and Cape Winelands District. The aim of the Trust is to contribute to nation building by protecting and stimulating our local culture and heritage in a socially inclusive way.
