The Eastern Cape Basketball Association will be hosting the Fourth Annual Womens Basketball Tournament in Port Elizabeth this year.

The tournament will take place from 7 – 9 August 2010.

This tournament has been hosted within the province in the past years with the main objective of promoting women’s basketball within the Eastern Cape. This is the first year that an invitation is being extended to club and/or provincial womens teams from other provinces to participate.

The tournament will also feature women’s wheelchair basketball teams competing for a championship.

An exciting and welcome addition to the national basketball calendar, we look forward to hearing more about the success of the event.
