Information provided by Andile Hlope

In 2007 after getting frustrated at the lack of information about the game he loved in South Africa, Victor decided to start Mybasketball and he hasn't looked back. For close to 15 years, Victor has experienced the game as a player, a coach, a spectator and now from a media perspective. The whole purpose of Mybasketball is to keep the fans informed about the game and anything related to it; whether it is here in SA, Africa or Overseas. Victor has made some great friends along the way and rekindled some amazing friendships through the game.. Some of those friends have joined him on this crusade to make basketball better for everyone, and he looks forward to a South Africa where basketball gets the credit it deserves and the focus is on youth development and improving the coaches.

  1. baller says:

R350.00 a player. what are the prizes.

  2. kim says:

I really want to come play with my team but R350 per player is a LITTLE too much but hope the tourney is a success.

  3. Andile says:

The registration fee takes into consideration that the venue and the officials need to be paid and unfortunately they do not come cheap as it costs over R400-00 to run 1 game. In a tourney there are at least 24 games, if you multiply that by R400-00 you easily come up with R9600-00. If 1 team brings 7 players and another brings 10 surely they cannot be expected to pay the sam amount since there are goodie packs to be received at the tournament. On top of all this there has to be prizes for the different categories……..

I see u like making fun about me and Theo(lol). For the record me and Theo are cool,no hard feelings were taken.Hence the issue was dropped.Anyway I was hoping to play but the recession doesnt allow me to pay that amount of money but will definately play in the masters tourney in Cape Town.

  10. baller says:

even in cape town recession will still be around and probably worse by then. maybe you should come to jozi as a warm. more like the confed cup here in july and the world cup in cape town. please don’t complain about the vuvuzela thou.
