2010 Gauteng Senior Trials for Men and Women

Please make available your players for trials for the Gauteng Senior squad taking place at the UJ outdoor courts on Bunting Road. The trials will start at 9 am on November 13 and players are requested to be in time. The trials are in preparation for the Senior Provincial tournament in Cape Town from 13 to 18 December 2010. GUBL 2010 finale

The curtain came down on the 2010 season of the inaugural Gauteng University Basketball League with VUT claiming the top price in the Men’s division and UJ taking it in the Ladies division.

The finals were held for the first time in Van der Bijl Park and in what proved to be a close affair in the Men’s division, the home team Vaal ended up with the W against a spirited Wits team. In the Ladies division, UJ beat their perennial foes Tuks to take the title.
